Summary
Since 1990, The Soft Edge has provided the latest innovations in government relations and advocacy software. We work with non-profits, corporations and associations of all sizes. We are seeking a systems administrator to oversee our hardware infrastructure, assist with automation projects and perform some programming tasks.
Duties
- Oversee and optimize our production infrastructure which includes Windows Server, Linux and VMWare systems
- Manage and implement our infrastructure maintenance schedule, which includes security testing, backups, OS updates, server migrations, etc.
- Improve server automation, load balancing and deployment
- Participate in backend coding projects that support frontend operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience managing a production environment consisting of Windows Server, Linux and VMWare systems
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Entrepreneurial outlook
- Some Python experience a plus
